LGBTQ people have a history of social, economic, and health disparities largely related to stigma and discrimination. This module reviews the stigmas and disparities faced by LGBTQ people. Training includes a focus on understanding vulnerabilities experienced by LGBTQ people and highlights their resilience in the context of stigma and discrimination. The training will inform participants on how intersectionality can compound disparities in the context of multiple cultural or environmental influences.
