Neurodiversity: Working with Neurodiverse People

People with neurodiverse functions may work differently, and understanding this untapped talent pool is important for business success. In Working with Neurodiverse People, we discuss how adopting an accepting outlook around neurodiversity helps to destigmatize and reduce stress for neurodiverse workers. We discuss the notion that neurodiverse members of the team can be seen as a burden, explore the strengths and skills they can bring to the table, discuss the lack of accessibility and acceptance, and provide advice on how to facilitate the success of neurodiverse workers. Finally, we will touch on the importance of normalizing, destigmatizing, empowering and communicating. Part of our series called Neurodiversity, this course includes a video lesson, downloadable student materials and a short online quiz to test your comprehension of the subject.
