The Primary Care and Population Health Grand Rounds topic: “Threading a Moving Needle to Protect Youth and Save Millions of Lives: Facts and Myths about E-Cigarettes” webinar presented by Dr. David B Abrams on January 28, 2019 aims to equip participants with a baseline understanding of how to 1) understand the whole truth from current science on the absolute and relative harms of e-cigarette vape (aerosol) compared to combustible tobacco smoke and no exposure, 2) Know and understand the specific patterns of e-cigarette, cigarettes, and other tobacco products and other risky behavior among youth, and 3) understand what the latest and strongest scientific evidence is for e-cigarettes as an aid for smoking cessation among smokers who are unable or unwilling to stop all nicotine use and their impact on net public health benefits versus harms.
