Adult BH HCBS Skills Training Academy FST

The Skills Training Academy for Family Support and Treatment (FST) Webinar will provide participants with an in-depth look at FST and its components, such as building upon family strengths as a means to acquire coping skills, collaborating with the family and caregivers in order to develop positive interventions, and training on treatment regimens including elements such as: recovery support options,  recovery concepts and medication education.  Participants will learn strategies for working in the community and aspects of FST in regard to eligibility factors, modality and settings, limitations and exclusions, and documentation/billing.  Participants will be provided with an overview of Medicaid redesign and Home and Community Based Services, the Behavioral Health Transition to Managed Care, and review the Care Restructuring Enhancement Pilot Program at NYC Health + Hospitals.
